Z03-01 ACRYL (PMMA)

Nov, 2007

Acryl is rigid plastic with high transparency. There are two types of substrates ; one is molded material, the other is casted plate. Casted plates are difficult material for the ink to adhere. Some molded materials do not have good solvent resistance. STYROL INK is recommended for such a materials.

LIST

  1. #100 SUPER GLOSS solvent based
Physical properties are excellent including alcohol resistance.
  2. #600 VAC COLOR solvent based
Ink film is thick. Suitable for displays/POP. Low odor.
  3. H-SERIES HALFTONE solvent based
Outstanding transparency. Ink film is flexible. Standard drying type and slow drying type are available.
  4. RC GA 41, RC PF 42 UV
can also be used on acrylic molded materials.

Z03-02 ABS

ABS has untransparent material with good impact resistance. Proper ink should be chosen taking the applications or desirable finish into consideration.(ABS=acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene)

LIST

  1. #600 VAC COLOR solvent based
Ink film is thick. Good printability. Low odor.
  2. H-SERIES HALFTONE solvent based
Outstanding transparency. Ink film is flexible. Standard drying type and slow drying type are available.
  3. RC GA 41 UV
Hard ink film. High gloss. Chemical resistance is good.
  4. RC M 47 UV
Matt. Good printability. Reasonable price with high quality.
  5. RC LP 47 UV
    Reasonable price with high quality.

Z03-03 STYROL(PS), HiPS, AS

Solvent resistance of these materials is not good. It is advised to choose the ink in which weak solvent is contained. Use STYROL THINNER to dilute these inks.
(HiPS=Hi-impact styrene, AS=acrylonitrile-styrene)

LIST

  1. #800 PAS solvent based
Ink film is thick. Good printability.
