600 SERIES VAC COLOR INK

INTRODUCTIONS

600 SERIES VAC COLOR is evaporative drying type of ink which forms thick and glossy film with vivid colors. Printability is superb and it is suitable for high-speed printing.

APPLICATIONS

Acryl, ABS, rigid vinyl, vinyl stickers, glossy paper, coated paper.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Good printability. Low odor.
  • High gloss and vivid colors.
  • Ink film is thick and excellent in opacity.
  • Excellent weathering resistance.
  • Good blocking resistance.

HOW TO USE

Dilute the ink with VAC THINNER(fast drying, standard drying, slow drying). VAC RETARDER is recommended to make the drying slower.

DRYING

Substrate : Acryl plate. Approx.6-20 min.(20°C)(68°F)

STENCIL & WASHING UP

Use photo-stencil. Use VINYL CLEANING THINNER.

LIGHTFASTNESS

5-8grades (Please refer to lightfastness chart.)

COLORS & TYPE OF PACKING

Standard 18 colors, over-coat clear. 1kg can.

PRECAUTIONS

  1. As the ink film of VAC COLOR is hard, vinyl stickers may curl up. 3500 SERIES EXG INK is recommended for this application.
  2. The alcohol resistance of dried ink film of 600 SERIES is not good. 100 SERIES SUPER GLOSS INK is recommended when alcohol resistance is required.
  3. Lightfastness of VAC COLOR INK is rather good. VAC OVER COAT CLEAR or JELCON VS SERIES is recommended to use when better lightfastness is required.
  4. Please refer to MSDS before use.
  5. Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

VAC 690 BLACK diluted with VAC THINNER(standard drying) is printed on acrylic plate and dried at 70°C(158°F) for 5 minutes. The printed matter is left at room temperature for 48 hours.
