3500 SERIES EXG INK

INTRODUCTIONS

3500 SERIES EXG is vinyl with gloss finish. Printability and blocking resistance is excellent. Lightfast colors have been newly added to this series.

APPLICATIONS

Vinyl stickers, flexible vinyl, rigid vinyl, ABS, PVC steel plate, polycarbonate, coated paper.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • The possibility of clogging is low. Suitable for high-speed printing.
  • Excellent resistance to alcohol, gasoline, oil and chemicals.
  • Excellent flexibility. Good blocking resistance.
  • No heavy metal is contained.

HOW TO USE

Dilute the ink with EXG THINNER(standard drying, slow drying, retarder). Fast drying thinner is recommended for flexible PVC. Use our VINYL CLEANING THINNER for washing up. 200-300 meshes/inch are recommended.

DRYING

EXG INK dries at room temperature. The drying time changes depending on the substrate.
Ex. Complete drying time : Diluted with EXG STANDARD THINNER by 20%. (room temperature : 20°C(68°F))

  • Vinyl sticker, flexible vinyl : 5 -10 minutes.
  • Polycarbonate, rigid vinyl : 10 -30 minutes.
Drying time is shortened by forced drying(ex. jet dryer).

LIGHTFASTNESS

Grade 5-8. Please refer to lightfastness chart for each color.

COLOR RANGE

Standard 27 colors(15 lightfast colors are included.), EXO(extra opaque) 5 colors. 1kg can .

PRECAUTIONS

  1. Lightfast colors(lightfast grades: 7-8) should be chosen for the applications that require excellent lightfastness such as automotive stickers.
  2. Slow drying version of EXG INK is available on customers' requirement.
  3. Please refer to MSDS before use.
  4. Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

3 hits on polycarbonate : 3508 RED --> 3590 BLACK --> 3507 OPAQUE WHITE.
Diluted with EXG STANDARD THINNER. 250 meshes/inch tetron screen.

  1. Lightfastness remarkably changes depending on how thick the ink film is and how the printed matters are used. The above lightfastness was rated by exposing the printed matter at 45 degrees to the southwest outdoors. The value was gained by our laboratory testing and implies no guarantee. The rating was done to deep colors. The lightfastness of pale colors are infeiror to that of deep colors.
  2. "Lightfastness" here means the durability against light as well as against weathering conditions.
