INTRODUCTIONS
JELCON DS-4N is transparent UVcurable ink which forms thick ink film of dot spacer on transparent switch panels. DS-4N is highly viscous and thixotropic.

Untreated polyester film
CHARACTERISTICS
- Excellent adhesion to untreated polyester.
- Flexible.
- Skin irritation is low. Safe to handle.
- Stable on the screen. Good printability.
HOW TO USE
- Mesh recommended: Stainless 120 meshes
- The thickness of the ink film : 60 – 80 microns
- Standard curing conditions :
Metal halide lamp 120 W/cm², one lamp, Distance from focus : 10 cm
Conveyor speed : 6 m/min (Integral light : approx.500 mJ/cm²)
Cooling : water cooling
VISCOSITY
Viscosity : 26,000 ± 7,500 mPa·s (25°C)(77°F) BROOKFIELD HADV-I
PRECAUTIONS
- Adhesion will change depending on the type/thickness of the polyester.
Pre-test is essential. - Please refer to the literature “UV INK” for the general precautions of UV ink.
- Storage stability :
Store the ink in a cool and dark place avoiding direct sunshine. Stir occasionally to
keep stability when the ink is stored for a long time. - Please refer to MSDS before use.
PROPERTIES
DS-4N is printed on polyester film (Toray Lumiler T-125) and cured with above mentioned conditions.
