INTRODUCTIONS

DDRJELCON CH8 is carbon paste of onecomponent polymer type designed for membrane switches and flexible printed circuits. The resistance is low and makes it possible to improve the performances of the printed matter as well as to save the cost.

CHARACTERISTICS

  1. Low resistance. 10.0 ohm/cm², thickness : 14 microns
  2. Low price with good cost-performance.
  3. Good adhesion to (untreated) PET film.
  4. Excellent flexibility.
  5. Good stability due to one component type. Good printability.
  6. Compatible with other makers’ silver paste.

HOW TO USE

  1. Specific gravity(20°C)(68°F) : 1.15
  2. Viscosity : 23500-36500 mPa·s (25°C)(77°F) BROOKFIELD HADV-I
  3. Substrate : PET film(untreated)
  4. Recommended thickness of ink film : 14 microns(mesh : stainless 150 meshes)
  5. Coverage (14 microns) : Approx. 160cm²/g
  6. Thinner : TETRON THINNER
  7. Washing up : VINYL CLEANING THINNER
  8. Drying : 120°C(248°F) – Approx.15 minutes

PROPERTIES (Thickness of the ink film : 14 microns)

  1. Surface resistivity : 10.0 ohm/cm² (Tested with 4 probes)
  2. Volume resistivity : 1.0 x 10-2 ohm・cm (Tested with 4 probes)
  3. Pencil hardness : H
  4. Adhesion(cross-hatch+tape-peeling) : 100/100

ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCES

  1. Heat shock(-20°C(-4°F) & 80°C(176°F), 2 hours, 10cycles) : The change in resistance <10%
  2. Heat resistance(150°C(302°F), 72hours) : The change in resistance <10%
  3. Humidity resistance(40°C(104°F), 90%RH, 240hours) : The change in resistance <10%
  4. Resistance at bending(bent at 360degrees) : The change in resistance <20%
