PET (MOF) INK 9100PL SERIES
PET(MOF)INK 9100PL SERIES is semi-gloss-finish ink designed for polyester film. Printability and post-processability are excellent. PET(MOF) 9100 PL SERIES complies with French Mineral Oil Regulation and PFAS regulations.

CHARACTERISTICS
- Non-silicone de-foamer is used, which makes it possible to print water-based adhesive on the dried printed film.
- Flexible ink film makes post-processing possible
- Excellent printability. Fine patterns can be reproduced.
- High-density print and high-speed print are possible.
- Good resistance to oil, gasoline, alcohol, chemicals and weathering.
- Stable in color-matching.
- Flat and semi-gloss finish.
- Complies with the regulations such as halogen, naphthalene, French Mineral Oil Regulation and PFAS.

*1 As PET (MOF) dries by evaporation of thinner, ink can be used as it is. Add Hardener to improve adhesion and properties of ink film. The mixture has pot life.
*2 JA-970 is recommended for ordinary purposes. Adhesion and chemical resistance are improved.
*3 JA-950 is recommended when weathering resistance, lightfastness or post-processability are required.
*4 JA-940 is recommended when hard ink film makes post-processing difficult. JA-940 helps ink film to be flexible.

* The weathering resistance varies depending on the color. The weathering resistance of matched colors, especially smoke colors, are much inferior to that of primary colors.
Precautions
- Be sure to dry by heat as this ink dries slowly to prevent clogging.
- When multi-layer printing is required, standard drying conditions may cause insufficient drying. In that case, please take longer drying time.
Example: In case that many printing process is required such as membrane switches, 60-90 minutes at 90 degrees Celsius may be necessary. - PET (MOF) INK has matt finish type, which is 9000 SERIES PET (MOF) INK.
- Be careful about blocking due to semi-gloss finish.
- PET(MOF) 9000 SERIES is recommended for back-side printing.
- PET (MOF) INK 9100PL SERIES has partly different thinner ingredients from that of PET INK 9100PL SERIES. Its thinner ingredients comply with French Mineral Oil Regulations. As other ingredients (resin, additives, pigments) are the same as PET INK 9100PL SERIES, there are not much differences in the performances of these two inks .Be sure to do trial print with the actual conditions before changing from conventional type to MOF type.
