Ink
RC CPO 63 Series
Properties
Excellent printability with cylinder press. Fast curing. Abrasion resistance.
Treated PET, Paper, paper board."
PREFAC
RC CPO 63 SERIES is designed to be suitable for high-speed print (>3500 pcs/hour) with cylinder press. RC CPO 63 SERIES cures by low integral light and can be printed on wide range of substrates. Finish is gloss.
APPLICATIONS
Paper, treated PET film, treated PE/PP sheets.(Printable on polycarbonate and vinyl)
CHARACTERISTICS
- Printable with high-speed cylinder press. More than 3500 pcs per hour can be printed.
- Ink cures with low integral light. Blocking does not happen even though the printed matters are stacked in the warm condition after cure.
- Cured ink film is glossy and resistant to abrasion.
- No harmful materials such as heavy metal and N-vinyl Pyrrolidone are contained in the component of the ink.
HOW TO USE
- Ink is supplied in ready-to-use condition. Stir well before use.
- Add 63 REDUCER up to 10% to lower viscosity.
- Standard curing conditions :
Mesh : Polyester 350 meshes/inch
Coating thickness : 10 microns
Two metal halide lamps : 120W/cm
Distance from focus : 10cm
Conveyor speed : 60m/min (Integral light : approx.80 mJ/cm²)
Notes : These conditions change depending on the substrate and color.
COLOR SHADES
Standard colors :
white, opaque white, lemon yellow, yellow, orange, bright red, red, geranium, violet, blue, deep blue, green, pink, marine blue, black, clear
PRECAUTIONS
- Curing conditions change depending on colors and substrates. When the curing speed is such high as 60m/min, 3 lamps of 120W/cm or 2 lamps of 160W/cm are recommended to secure the sufficient curing.
- It may be difficult to obtain good adhesion under the following conditions :
a. Treated PP sheets whose wettability is under 50dyn/cm.
b. PVC sheets that has stabilizer/plasticizer bleeding. - Although 07 OPAQUE WHITE has excellent opacity, it is not advised to use it to match colors as it tends to cause poor curing.
- Please refer to the literature "UV INK" for general precautions for UV ink.
- Please refer to MSDS before use.
- Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.
