INTRODUCTIONS
D SERIES is two-component type of pad printing ink to give gloss finish.
APPLICATIONS
Unprimed metal, primed metal, thermo-setting resin(phenol, epoxy, nylon,etc.), glass, PBT, treated PE/PP
CHARACTERISTICS
D SERIES adheres to the substrate to which ordinary evaporative-drying type of ink cannot adhere. Ink film is tough and resistant to weathering.
HOW TO USE
| Thinner | E THINNER(fast drying, standard drying, slow drying). Dilute the ink with thinner by 10-30%. Stir well before use. |
| Hardener | JA-960(standard) andJA-950(slow reaction, no yellowing) should be added by approx.10%.
JA-950H by 8%. |
| Drying | Ink dries at room temperature. However, heat drying at higher than 80°C(176°F) is recommended to obtain proper properties. |
| 1. Tack-free drying can be obtained at room temperature. Drying continues for about 10 days after tack-free drying. 2. Complete drying : 80°C(176°F) 60minutes or 100°C(212°F) 30minutes or 120°C(248°F) 15minutes. |

| Pot life | JA-960 3-6 hours, JA-950 6-10 hours, The mixture of ink and Hardener is still fluid even after pot life. However, do not use such mixture as the properties are degraded. |
| Washing | Use our #10 CLEANING THINNER. |
| Storage | Hardener becomes solid by humidity. The lid of the container should be tightly closed. |
PRECAUTIONS
- Please refer to MSDS before use.
- Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.
- JA-950 makes stronger and more flexible ink film than JA-960. JA-960 is superior to JA-950 in curing and hardness, but JA-950 is preferable to be used in terms of adhesion and physical properties.
- F SERIES INK is preferable to D SERIES INK for printing glasses because F SERIES INK has stronger adhesion. Strong adhesion can be obtained by adding JA-980(10%) and JA-1000(1%) to D SERIES INK. When JA-980 is used, curing conditions should be 30 minutes and 160°C(320°F).
