JELCON-VS SERIES
(UV CUTTING CLEAR)

INTRODUCTIONS

JELCON-VS is one-component over coat clear. UV cutting rate is improved with special absorber of ultra violet ray in this ink. JELCON-VS dries at room temperature.

APPLICATIONS

Package printing to protect the content of the package, to prevent fading of the fluorescent colors, to prevent the color fading or degrading by UV.

CHARACTERISTICS

1. Good adhesion to acryl, rigid vinyl, general plastics such as polycarbonate and general vinyl stickers.
   JELCON-VS dries at room temperature.
2. High absorption of ultra violet ray. UV of less than 340-350nm can be cut. (Usually UV of less than 300nm is cut.)
3. Good stability. As UV absorber does not bleed, the initial absorbing rate is maintained for a long time.
4. Good resistance to oil, alcohol and chemicals.

TYPES AVAILABLE

• VS-10 : Cutting UV of less than 340nm. Flexibility is comparatively good.
• VS-15 : Cutting UV of less than 350nm. Ink film is harder than VS-10.

HOW TO USE

• Use our PC THINNER to dilute the ink.
• Any stencil can be used. Thicker ink film cut UV better.

DRYING

• Tack-free time : 25°C approx. 8 minutes, 50°C approx. 4 minutes
• Complete drying : 25°C approx. 90 minutes, 50°C approx. 15 minutes.
  (JELCON-VS is printed on acryl plate after diluted with 20% of PC STANDARD THINNER. Fabric - 250 meshes/inch)

WASHING UP

Use our VINYL CLEANING THINNER.

PRECAUTIONS

1. When JELCON-VS is printed as over-coating, acrylic inks such as SUPER GLOSS INK,HIT INK or EXGINK and vinyl inks are recommended as base inks. Compatibility with these types of ink is good.
2. Please refer to MSDS before use.
3. Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.
