CHARACTERISTICS

  • Excellent adhesion to polyester.
  • Printability is good. High opacity.
  • Resistant to blocking.
  • Good resistance to oil, alcohol and chemicals.
  • As non-silicone de-foamer is used, post-processing such as spraying causes no crawling.
  • High quality and low price.

HOW TO USE

Dilute the ink with PC THINNER(standard drying or slow drying)or VINYL THINNER(standard drying or slow drying).

PRECAUTIONS

  • The lightfastness varies depending on the color. Choose the proper color to meet your application. Please refer to the list of lightfastness for the data of each color.
  • The color shades are as per our color guide(gloss),1995 version.
  • ESTER-G INK can be mixed with 9100PL SERIES PET INK. Although ESTER-G can also be mixed with ESTER-M and 9000 SERIES PET INK, crawling may be caused as the de-foamer used in ESTER-G is different from that used in ESTER-M and 9000 SERIES.
  • ESTER-G is slower to dry than previous version. Dry the ink film completely. Printers are advised to be careful of drying especially in case of over-printing.
  • Adhesion and properties are improved by adding hardener JA-960 (fast reaction) or JA-950 (non-yellowing, slow reaction). Mixing ratio is 100(ink) : 10(hardener). The mixture has pot life of 3-10 hours.
  • Please refer to MSDS of ESTER-G before use.
  • Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.

  1. Lightfastness changes depending on coating thickness and the purpose for which the printed matters are used. The value above was gained from lab test of exposing the printed matter to the south at 45 degrees. The value does not imply any guarantee.
  2. The value above is for dark colors. The lightfastness of pale colors is inferior to them.
