900 SERIES TETRON INK

INTRODUCTIONS

The ink forms thick film with high gloss & density. Opacity is good.

APPLICATIONS

Polyester film, polyester stickers, PET bottles, synthetic paper.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Good adhesion to polyester.
• Ink film is thick and dense, which means good opacity.
• Excellent lightfastness.
• Excellent resistance to oil, alcohol, gasoline and chemicals.

HOW TO USE

• Dilute the ink with TETRON THINNER(fast drying, standard drying, slow drying).
• TETRON RETARDER is recommended to make the drying slower.

DRYING

Polyester sticker : Approx.10-30 min.(20°C)(68°F)

STENCIL & WASHING UP

Use photo-stencil. Use VINYL CLEANING THINNER.

COLORS & TYPE OF PACKING

Standard 20 colors, EXO(extra opaque) 5 colors, matting agent. 1kg can.

PRECAUTIONS

1. Take sufficient drying time as the ink film is thick. Blocking may occur if the drying is not enough.
2. Adhesion and physical properties are improved by adding JA-960(fast reaction type), JA-950(slow reaction type) or JA-940(flexible and no yellowing type). Adding ratio: 10 : 100 = hardener : ink. Be sure to add hardener when printed on synthetic paper. Pot life of the mixture is 5-8 hours.
3. TETRON INK may not adhere to some grades of polyester film. It is recommended to try 9100PL SERIES PET INK in these cases.
4. Please refer to MSDS before use.
5. Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.

PHYSICAL PROPEERTIES

Substrate : Polyester sticker(Rintek SS hairline, glossy silver 50microns,untreated) 990 black is diluted with TETRON THINNER(standard drying). Tetron screen 270 meshes/inch.
Drying : Few minutes at forced drying of 60°C(140°F) and left for 1 day at room temperature.
