8300 SERIES EMA INK

INTRODUCTIONS

8300 SERIES EMA INK is evaporative drying type of ink specially designed for industrial meters and fascias. 8300 SERIES satisfies the required properties with its low price, which means high cost performance of this series.

APPLICATIONS

Fascias of polycarbonate and acryl, industrial meters, name plates. Printing on ABS, rigid vinyl resin.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • The possibility of the crack on the substrate is low. Excellent adhesion.
  • Excellent printability. The possibility of pin holes and crawling is low.
  • Excellent flexibility. Suitable for post-processing such as punching.
  • Excellent resistance to oil, alcohol and chemicals.

HOW TO USE

Dilute the ink with PC THINNER(standard drying, slow drying, retarder). SPECIAL PC RETARDER is recommendable to print fine patterns. If other thinner is used, cracks may appear on the substrate.

DRYING

Tack free time : Diluted with 20% thinner to print on polycarbonate. Dried at room temperature.

  • PC THINNER, STANDARD DRYING : Approx. 5 -10 minutes
  • PC THINNER, SLOW DRYING : Approx.20 minutes
  • PC RETARDER : Approx.25 minutes
  • SPECIAL PC RETARDER : Approx.35 minutes

When 8300 series is used for fascias and industrial meters, heat drying at higher than 70°C(158°F) is recommended to avoid the out-gas trouble.

STENCIL & WASHING UP

Use photo-stencil. Use our VINYL CLEANING THINNER for washing up.

COLORS & TYPE OF PACKING

Standard 15 colors, EXO(extra opaque) 5 colors, transparent 4 colors. 1-kg-can.

PRECAUTIONS

  1. Cracks may happen on polycarbonate molds and some kinds of sheets. If cracks happen, anneal the substrate, or use SSP THINNER STANDARD DRYING(special). The situation may be improved.
  2. Please refer to MSDS before use.
  3. Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.

  1. The above informations were gained by our laboratory testing and no guarantee is implied.
  2. Test was performed after ink printed on polycarbonate completely dried.
  3. Lightfastness varies depending on color. Please refer to lightfastness chart The lightfastness of matched colors, especially smoke colors and pale colors, is inferior to that of standard colors.
