RC OP 43 SERIES (OVER COAT CLEAR)
PREFACE
RC OP 43 SERIES OVER COAT CLEAR(O.C.C)is designed for over-coating on offset and gravure prints.
HG O.C.C has excellent curing and adhesion. Low-cost version, NOP O.C.C and LOP O.C.C are also available.
APPLICATIONS
Paper, over coating on offset prints and gravure prints, laminated materials, laminated matt PP materials
CHARACTERISTICS
- Suitable for high-speed printing like cylinder press.
- Fast cure. Blocking resistance is good when the printed matters are stacked.
- Adhesion to offset prints and matt PP materials is good.
- Cured ink film has good levelling and abrasion resistance as well as high gloss.
- No harmful materials such as heavy metal and N-Vinyl Pyrrolidone are contained.
HOW TO USE
- Ink is supplied in ready-to-use condition. Stir well before use.
- Add 43-00 REDUCER up to 10% if it is necessary to lower viscosity.
- Standard curing conditions :
Mesh count : 350
Sol thickness(microns) : 10
Conveyor speed(m/min) : 20
Integral light(mJ/cm²) : 120
Ink film thickness(microns) : 10-12
- Lamp power : One metal halide lamp 120W/cm
- Distance from focus : 10 cm
- Cooling : Water cooling or air coolin

PRECAUTIONS
- Blocking resistance is effected by the gloss of the paper on which the ink is printed.
Blocking may happen to thickly-printed ink when the substrate is glossy paper.
- Please refer to the literature, "UV INK" for general precautions.
- Please refer to MSDS before use.
- Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.
