We stopped production of FUNCOAT DPL. The following information is just for your reference.

INTRODUCTIONS

FUNCOAT DPL is designed for coated paper(foil paper). The high quality textured surface can be obtained with reasonable price. The finish is especially good when printed on gold or silver foil.

AVAILABLE ITEMS

• DPL-1 CLEAR : Random patterned textured surface(pattern : high density)
• DPL-2 CLEAR : Random patterned textured surface(pattern : low density)
• DPL-3 MATT CLEAR :
  Pseudo-etching textured surface. Suitable for non-glare print. High thixotropy. Good reproducibility of screen mesh.
• DPL-K CLEAR :
  Random patterned clear textured surface(pattern : high density) Better transparency than DPL-1.

HOW TO USE

1. Ink is supplied in ready-to-use condition. Stir well before use.
2. Add 43-00 REDUCER up to 10% if it is necessary to lower viscosity.
3. Use coarser mesh than 225 when printing DPL-1, DPL-2 and DPL-K due to the diameter of the powder used.
4. Use any mesh count for DPL-3 as this item gives the effect by reproducing the mesh pattern. Different finish can be obtained by different mesh count.
5. Standard curing conditions :
   One metal halide lamp 120W/cm, Distance from focus : 10cm
   Conveyor speed : 15m/min (Integral light : 150mJ/cm²)

PRECAUTIONS

1. Store the ink in a cool and dark place avoiding direct sunshine. Stir well before use.
2. Although skin irritation is low, it is advised to avoid skin contact with the ink.
3. Please refer to MSDS before use.
4. Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.
