INTRODUCTIONS

FUNCOAT UV META-MIRROR is UV curable ink which produces smooth and metallic finish. The advantage of this ink is that it can be printed on the front side of the substrate. As the conventional mirror ink must be printed on the back side of the substrate, the material must be transparent. UV Meta-Mirror can produce beautiful metallic finish on the colored or opaque substrates as well as transparent ones.

APPLICATIONS

Treated PET film, polycarbonate, ABS, acryl, art paper
The ink can be printed on the front side of the substrate.

HOW TO USE

• Ink is ready-to-use condition. Stir well before use.
• Recommended mesh count is 300/inch. Make the ink film as thin as possible.
• The temperature of the working room should be 20-30 degrees Celsius.
• Avoid direct sunshine while printing.
• Use Vinyl Cleaning Thinner for washing up.

CURING CONDITIONS

• UV lamp : One metal-halide lamp 120W/cm
• UV power : 800mW/cm²
• Integral light : 250-300mJ/ cm² (conveyor speed 8-10m/min.)

PRECAUTIONS

1. Abrasion resistance of UV Meta-Mirror is not good. When the abrasion resistance is require, choose UT Silver and print over-coat clear ink(RC GA 41 Series/ RC PF 42 Series/RC SL 61 Series)on it. In this case, the gloss of UT Silver is slightly spoiled.
2. As the adhesion of E Silver to the ink which is printed on it is not good, E Silver is not good for the applications that require over-coat clear ink.
3. If this ink is used repeatedly, metallic finish gradually degrades. Please add new ink for adjustment. The storage stability of the used ink is not as good as new ink. The used ink must be separated from new ink.
4. Store the ink under the low temperature avoiding direct sunshine. The storage in the refrigerator is the most desirable. The storage stability of UV Meta-Mirror is inferior to that of other UV ink.
