RC SL 61 Series
Properties
Fast curing. Excellent flexibility. Opacity and heat formability.
PREFAC
RC SL 61 SERIES is UV curable ink with semi-gloss finish. The ink film is flexible and its curing is excellent despite of its high density. SL INK is recommended to be printed on thin film.

Polycarbonate, treated PET film, A-PET film, vinyl film, vinyl stickers, paper
CHARACTERISTICS
- Excellent curing. Ink film is flexible.
- Cured ink film is vacuum-formable.
- Highly opaque.
- Excellent adhesion. Over-printability is good.
- Fine patterns can be excellently reproduced. The reproducibility of halftone ink is superb.
- The effect to the squeegee is less compared with other ink. Stable on the screen.
HOW TO USE
- Stir well before use.
- Add 61 REDUCER up to 10% to lower viscosity. When the addition exceeds 10%, add additive JAR-15 as well by 1-3%.(Both 42 Reducer and 47 Reducer can be added to this ink.)
- Add 61-00 Matt Clear by 20-30% to increase viscosity. Additive JA-244 and JAR-20 can also make viscosity higher. Insufficient curing may happen to colored ink when the ink film becomes thick.
- Insufficient curing may occur when silver or gold color is made using 61-00 Clear ink.
In this case, add additive JAR-15 to improve curability. - Standard curing conditions:
Mesh : 300-350 meshes/inch, Sol thickness : less than 10 microns
Metal halide lamps 80W/cm
Conveyor speed : 10m/min
Integral light : approx.150 mJ/cm²
Peak Power : 300mW/cm²
Notes : These conditions change depending on the substrate and color.

- Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.
